Aimee Melissa Davis Memorial Scholarship
In 1994 the Aimee Melissa Davis Memorial Scholarship began providing an annual $500 college scholarship to high school graduates diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes. The scholarship has grown and now awards $5,000 annually. By 2000, however, the family wanted more personalized management of the scholarship and better preservation of the fund — and they turned to Austin Community Foundation.
